See Why Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is so famous?
The news of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai come back as web series, has spread all over the social media.
It’s easy to conclude how famous this TV Series was. As we know Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai got one of the best TRPs for an Indian comedy show.
This show was famous among youngsters because it was different from any sas, bahu drama and was having light humour comedy with a pack of talented actors who lived their role with so ease and made it memorable. Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai was full of witty, sarcastic punches which Satish Shah as Indravadan Sarabhai delivered with such an ease. Intelligent jokes, which Sumeet Raghavan as Sahil Sarabhai never failed to deliver. The comedy by Rupali Ganguly as Monisha Sarabhai and Rajesh Kumar as Rosesh Sarabhai. And of course, the brilliant acting by Ratna Pathak Shah as Maya Sarabhai.
Apart from the main cast, the supporting cast were equally funny and brilliant.
Be it Madhusudhan Fufa’s “hain, hain?”, to Dushyant Sarabhai’s explaining each and every thing. Every character in this show had it’s unique charm and was equally important.
The script of each and every episode was really good.
Its was a kind of show which appeals to everyone with its sophisticated comedy.
Plot of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai
The show revolved around the life of an upper class Gujarati family, the Sarabhais, who live in a luxury apartment building in the upmarket Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai.
The family consists of Indravadan Sarabhai (Satish Shah) and his wife Maya (Ratna Pathak), who live in an apartment with their younger son Rosesh (Rajesh Kumar). Their older son Sahil (Sumeet Raghavan) and his wife Monisha Sarabhai (Rupali Ganguly) Manisha Singh live in the apartment across the hallway. Maya considers the name Manisha middle class and renames her Monisha before their marriage. Monisha’s middle-class habits irk Maya. Monisha, on the other hand, does not appreciate Maya’s snooty and snobbish behaviour. Indravadan constantly scolds Roshesh for being mother’s boy and for writing bad poetry. Maya and Roshesh consider Indravadan’s attitude towards Rosesh as not acceptable. The ensuing conflict and comedy becomes Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Much of the humour is derived from the fake, artificial and shallow interactions among the city’s elite and their perceived notions of the shortcomings and failings of middle-class society.
