Reliance to launch 4G VoLTE Smartphone at just Rs 999 after Jio:
Reliance Jio that launched its free data and voice calling offer in September 2016 which shook the entire Telecom industry. Again Reliance is going to blast in Telecom industry. As per media reports Reliance is about to launch 4G VoLTE supported Smartphone at just Rs 999 with free voice calls and internet. At least two such low-cost Reliance Jio VoLTE feature phones are said to be planned by the company, which will come with bundled free voice calls and other services.
Reliance Jio may launch 4G smartphone on or before 31st March this year. If it is true then it will force other companies to launch cheap 4G VoLTE supported smartphones in market, ultimately this competition will provide options to lower income group users. Sometimes before Reliance Jio was committed to give cheapest free internet pricing and plans as well and they have kept the promised as proposed earlier. So hope now Reliance Jio will provide the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone with VoLTE smartphone at just Rs 999 too. This price is estimate and might change but the price range of Reliance Jio 4G LTE phones will be under Rs 1500.
Expected specifications and Features of Reliance new Mobile:
According to media reports, the phone will have a front and rear camera. The new Reliance Jio VoLTE feature smartphones will have a keypad which will be boast with Android OS. These Android phones will come with Jio’s preinstalled applications such as Jio Chat, Jio Live TV, videos on demand and Jio Money Wallet.
About Reliance LYF handsets:
Rekiance Jio tied up with domestic handset maker Intex to supply 4G handsets enabled with voice over LTE (VoLTE) feature in June 2015. Through this Reliance plans to offer 4G voice calling besides rolling out high-speed Internet services using a fiber network, in addition to the 4G wireless network. However Jio announced that it would be launching its own mobile handset brand named LYF in October 2015. The company launched its LYF smartphone series starting with Water 1 On 25 January 2016.
