The story of Aarambh is based on the fight between two old civilisation of India,  Dravidian’s and Aryans.

This Dravidian and Aryan divide has been always a topic to debate on.

According to few,  Dravidian are the original native of India, while Aryan invaded the country around 1500 BC.

While for others its just a myth, to spread racism.

So, we are here going to see all the points that has been given on this topic:-

What is Aryan Invasion theory?

According to this theory, India was invaded and conquered by  light-skinned Indo-European tribes from Central Asia around 1500-100 BC, who overthrew an earlier and more advanced dark-skinned Dravidian civilization.

This India-European tribe was termed as Aryans.

And it was assumed that they conquered Dravidian with horses, wheels and chariots.

However, further historical studies and scientific researches contradict it totally.

As the  historians went deep they didn’t find much evidence for this  theory, but they could  find this Aryan-Dravidian Divide as a political Myth that was used by different people for their own benefit.

British used this  Aryan Invasion theory  for their Divide and Rule policy:-

The British ruled India, as they did other lands, by a divide-and-conquer strategy.

They spread the theory of  – the lighter- skinned Aryans and the darker-skinned Dravidian’s – and that the Dravidian’s were the original inhabitants of India whom the invading Aryans conquered.

This theory  has been used to turn the people of south India against the people of north India, and to show that they belong to different races and Dravidian’s were the only pure Hindus.

Historical  and scientific studies that contradict this  Aryan-Dravidian divide theory:-

Now this is 21st century and mostly we ask for proof as evidence and go along with scientific evidences and researches, So we will first see here the Scientific studies that are done on this Aryan Invasion theory and its outcome.

 According to a  path breaking study by Harvard and indigenous researchers on ancestral Indian populations, there is a genetic relationship between all Indians.

“This paper rewrites history… there is no north-south divide,” Lalji Singh, former director of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) and a co-author of the study, said at a press conference during Sep 2009.

Senior CCMB scientist Kumarasamy Thangarajan said there was no truth to the Aryan-Dravidian theory as they came hundreds or thousands of years after the ancestral north and south Indians had settled in India.

The study analysed 500,000 genetic markers across the genomes of 132 individuals from 25 diverse groups from 13 states. All the individuals were from six-language families and traditionally “upper” and “lower” castes and tribal groups. “The genetics proves that castes grew directly out of tribe-like organizations during the formation of the Indian society,” the study said.

Thangarajan noted that it was impossible to distinguish between castes and tribes since their genetics proved they were not systematically different.

So, basically we all are Indian !!!

Now coming to some  historical evidences:–

The Indus Civilisation  was  interpreted as Dravidian or non-Aryan culture.

Though it was never proved, but  was taken by many people to be a fact.

However, new archaeological evidence shows that the Indus culture was itself a  Vedic culture, centered not on the Indus but on the banks of the Saraswati river of Vedic fame, and  its language was also related to Sanskrit.

The recent discovery of the dried-up Saraswati River further contradict  the Aryan invasion theory.

India. The archeological evidence indicates that the river dried up completely about 1900 B.C.,
much before 1,500 B.C., the date of  Aryan invasions.

 River Saraswati is mentioned numerous times in the Vedic scriptures of the Aryans, indicating that these people lived in India during very ancient times.

Adding to this there are further many more historical studies, that show how western countries has imposed this theory for their social, political and economical purposes, making us to believe that our  culture was not the great thing as our ancestors had said it was.  It made them feel that the main line of civilisation was developed first in the Middle East and then in Europe and that the culture of India was  secondary to the real development of world culture.

It’s now our scholars and government duty to make this truth to be known to all the people of India, by correcting the History books and need to change the mind set of south and north people.
