Xiaomi Mi 5C Rumored to Launch in February with Xiaomi’s own Pinecone processor

Xiaomi Mi 5C Gets China Quality Certification:

Xiaomi Mi 5C rumors and news has been  in and out from gadgets world  for quite some time now. Once again Mi 5c are in news as it has appeared on on the website of China Quality Certification centre (CCC or 3C).

According to the news portal Anzhou.cn, not only Xiaomi Mi 5C but five different new models of Xiaomi has to gone through the certification. The five new models included the model numbers 2105212, 2016089, 2016101, MAE136 and the MBE6A5. Among all five the one listed as MAE136 is said to be the Mi 5C.

Also the website claims that Mi 5C which code name is Meri will be launched in February. The Mi 5C which is supposed to be an affordable version of the Mi 5 appeared in leaks last year. Now rumors coming in gadgets world proves that iw will be launch soon in market.

Also there is buzz that Xiaomi Mi 5C will be powered by Xiaomi’s very own processor called Pinecone . The device will run on MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow 6. The Xiaomi Mi 5C will features a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing.

This device will come with 3GB RAM and fueled by 64 GB inbuilt memory. Xiaomi Mi 5C leaked image shows, its design looks very similar to the Xiaomi’s flagship  Mi 5 from the front. The device features a 2.5 glass which gives a premium look. There is no 3D glass on back side like on the Mi 5, but a soft aluminium unibody with cutouts for the camera and antenna bands at the top and bottom ends.

It is rumored that Xiaomi Mi 5C will be launched in two screen variants one is a 5.2-inch and other one 5.5-inch display. The Mi 5C comes with ultra-narrow bezels around the display and a sleek design.

About China’s 3C certification:

The 3C is short from of China Compulsory Certificate mark It is a compulsory safety mark for many products imported, sold or used in the Chinese market.

CCC-Certification’s only purpose is to ensure compliance of products with the Chinese standards. It was implemented on May 1, 2002 and became fully effective on August 1, 2003.
