The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is the 1st Google Tango-enabled smartphone that allows you to see objects and information overlaid onto the real world by using augmented reality. Google has developed Tango which is an Augmented reality Computing platform. Tango uses computer vision to enable mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to detect their position relative to the world around them without using GPS or other external signals. Tango works by integrating three types of functionality Motion-tracking, Area learning and Depth perception based on these information it generates data about the device in “six degrees of freedom” (3 axes of orientation plus 3 axes of motion) and detailed three-dimensional information about the environment. The high end smartphone Lenovo’s Phab 2 Pro with Qualcomm Octa core processor is the first commercial smartphone with the Tango Technology.
