Father’s Day, India Vs Pakistan in Cricket and Hockey: Get ready for Super Sunday

Father’s Day 2017 and India Vs Pakistan in Cricket and Hockey in London:

Have you planned to celebrate Fathers day or still planning? This year Father’s day observe on 18th of June. Generally many countries observe this day on the third Sunday in June. Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide to recognise the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children.

Either you are Cricket fan or Hockey fan coming  Sunday will has full entertainment package for you when arch-rivals India and Pakistan clash in Cricket and Hockey.

If you are Cricket fan then you must be aware that Men in Blue  Virat Kohli and Co. will play  in Sunday’s final against Pakistan in Kennington Oval, London. And If you are Hockey fan then you must be aware that Indian hockey team, who will wear the same colours will play against Pakistani hockey team  in the Hockey World League (HWL) semi-finals. The Hockey World League (HWL) semi-finals are being held in London.

India Vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy, 2017 Final:

Scenes of the 2007 T20 WC will be relived for sure. An All Asian finale! There are nothing more excited than an India – Pakistan battle.  India have had a wonderful journey in the Champions Trophy.  In the semi-final against  Bangladesh and as well as their first match against Pakistan,  Virat and Co. played a complete game. They started off by beating Pakistan in the first group game. The match was played at Edgbaston where India batted first and scored  319. Pakistan never quite got into the game and eventually fell short by 124 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis method.

In the semis, India won by nine wickets but that is quality that team has at the top of the order in group match. Both the openers Rohit  Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan  gave a great start that make  space to Virat to play his natural game. With the ball, Kedar Jadhav’s quick two wickets stopped Bangladesh momentum. India first bowled them out for 267 and then overhauled the total with 9 wickets to spare.

India Vs Pakistan Hockey World League (HWL) semi-finals:

India and Pakistan, the two giants of Asian Hockey and arch rivals will face each other in the Pool A match of the Men’s Hockey World League (HWL) Semi-Final in London on 18 June 2017.  In the first game, India thrashed Scotland 4-1. They will play Canada on Saturday. India is currently ranked 6th in World Hockey, while Pakistan are 13th. Teams who qualify from this tournament will play in the HWL finals which will be held in Bhubaneswar.
