Rock On 2 is an upcoming 2016 Indian Hindi musical drama film directed by Shujaat Saudagar, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
Rock On 2 is a sequel to the 2008 film, Rock On!! (which was a big hit among youngsters and a reason for so many new music bands) is scheduled to release on 11 November 2016.

As this movie is a sequel of ROCK On so it tells the story of Four friends who reunite to relive their moments of glory as a rock band.
Actress Shraddha Kapoor will be seen as lead opposite Farhan Akhtar in the film. Shraddha is the band’s newest member who sings along with Farhan. The principal cast from the original film all returned for the sequel. The only member from the Rock On band Magik who did not return for Rock On 2 is Luky Kenny as his character died in the first film, while Arjun Rampal, Farhan Khan and Purab Kohli all have come again for their respective roles making it a rare occurrence in Bollywood. The film will be more about the rock band and will feature more members, including these two.
