Rising Star 2017 Judges and Hosts names:
Along with Crores of viewer as 4th judge Maestro Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh and Monali Thakur are the expert judges of this reality show. Unlike other other singing competition TV shows which feature a cast of celebrity judges the format of this show is different.
Rising Star reality show features a cast of celebrity experts and considers the viewers at home the judges. During each performance, the audience at home is able to decide in real time whether or not a contestant is sent through to the next round by using a mobile voting app. While the viewers at home are considered the judges, the expert panelists also may influence the vote but with only a small percentage of the total voting power. For e.g. – if the total voting power is 100% the judges may hold approximately 25%, thereby by giving the power to the people.
Meiyang Chang who was runner up in Indian Idol-3 and hosted Indian Idol-4/5, and Raghav Juyal who made his entry in the industry with the reality show Dance India Dance will host Rising Star season 1.

This is complete cheating, Sankar Mahadevan is just a hypocrite he kept on only saying Bharat Mata ki jai in this whole program but when it came for real test he cheated Bharat Mata, Vikramjeet Singh song was best today and each day need to be counted, its the day when you perform. If this was case then why Bora was voted out she was not well that day. Today Kundu didn’t perform well so she need to be out and India voted for Vikramajeet, This is fixed program. I am fearing if Shankar Mahadevan now will vote out Maithili Thakur there is no comparison between Kundu and Maithili. I was watching this program from day one but today i am very disappointed with the decision of judges. I now can say Shankar and Monali will make Kundu a champion, this is completely fixed. They can even go more dirty and make Benedict champion too so there is no question asked by piublic. There are several singer in market like Kundu but Maithili is one singer which is unique. Very very disappointing. Very discouraging to see that they masterminded the whole competition. Very Sad….. India will never improve…..we cheat out best talent………Vikramajeet champion, Hypocrite Shankar Mahadavan i lost all respect for him.

I was looking forward to this show but I cannot stand Raghav as a host and Daljit as the judge. They are both behaving in a childish way especially Raghav.
